What to Bring or Leave

What to Bring

  • Enough clothes for at least 10 days

  • Comfortable clothing- blue jeans, sweats, t-shirts, shorts, etc.

  • Bring clothing appropriate for the season and changing of the seasons, if applicable.

  • A nice outfit for outings

  • Coat- heavy coat for the winter, light jacket for spring & summer

  • Tennis shoes/Sneakers

  • Personal bath & beauty products- shampoo, conditioner, antiperspirant, feminine hygiene products, makeup, hair styling products, hair dryer, etc.

  • Cigarettes/nicotine vaping- bring enough for 30 days in sealed packages - no cigars

  • Cash/credit cards for outings and other purchases

  • Bed linens and pillows, washing detergent, toilet paper, etc. are provided by Serenity.

What to Leave

  • All belongings will be searched and prohibited items will be securely stored.

  • Pump bottle hair spray (aerosol cans only)

  • Perfume that has a screw top

  • Mouthwash with alcohol (alcohol free mouthwash allowed- must be new, sealed bottle)

  • Any other product, containing alcohol that is in a container in which the top can be unscrewed- this does not include lotions, shampoo, etc.

  • Weapons of any kind

  • Drugs/alcohol

  • Unapproved medication

  • Cigars or specialty cigarettes (Black & Mild, Clove, etc)

  • Any photos OR OTHER ITEMS that include alcohol, drug use, partying, or anything sexualized.
